Color Collective was created by Lauren Wager in January 2010 as an online color resource for designers. The color palettes are based on the work of various designers, artists, and photographers that Lauren is inspired by. Color Collective has been featured on top blogs such as Design*Sponge, Refinery29, Apartment Therapy, Design for Mankind, Smashing Magazine and The Huffington Post. Lauren's blog has also been featured in five issues of Lucky Magazine, and Joy Cho's second book, *Blog, Inc.*
Lauren previously worked as a Color Designer and Social Media Designer at the home office of Bath & Body Works. She lives in Columbus, Ohio where she enjoys spending time with her family, collecting rocks, reading, finding the best coffee, and searching for color combinations in unexpected places.
Lauren is the author of Palette Perfect Vol 1 & 2, based on Color Collective and published by Hoaki Books in Spring 2018 and August 2022. Her third book, Fashion Palettes, was released in August 2024. Her next book is scheduled for Spring 2026.
Currently, Lauren offers color consulting services, custom mood board creation, color trend analysis, and online color theory classes for brands and designers looking to elevate their visual storytelling through color.
